Welcome to Cervia
Cervia is a charming seaside town on the Adriatic coast of Emilia-Romagna, part of the Riviera Romagnola, roughly midway between Ravenna and Rimini. Known for its long sandy beaches, historic salt pans (Saline di Cervia) and pine forest, Cervia combines a relaxed seaside atmosphere with a rich local heritage.
The town's saltworks, active since ancient times, are today part of a protected natural area home to pink flamingos and other birdlife — one of the most distinctive sights of the area. Cervia's historic centre, canal port and waterfront promenade make it a welcoming setting for the international Vocotruyen community gathering here in 2026.
Reaching Cervia
Cervia is easily reached from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport and Federico Fellini International Airport in Rimini, both within easy driving distance, as well as from the Cervia-Milano Marittima and Cesena railway stations.
